Deep red in color, the 2010 Shea delivers a perfumed attack of big dark cherry, oak dust and iron, followed by spiced meat and ripe apricot. In your mouth it’s intense dark cherry on a long palate with background soy. The structure is refined and integrated, on medium weight plus, well balancing the nature of the fruit.

"Bright ruby-red. Intense cherry and black raspberry aromas are complemented by notes of candied rose, vanilla and Asian spices. Fleshy but lively and precise, offering sappy red and dark berry flavors and an exotic touch of cola on the back half. The red berry note carries through a long, gently tannic finish that shows a refreshingly bitter quality."
