Seghesio Family Vineyards’ roots are firmly planted in Zinfandel, as their founder, Edoardo Seghesio, first planted this historic varietal on their Alexander Valley Home Ranch in 1895.
This amazing, robust Zinfandel presents as spicy with the notes of lush black fruit of Alexander Valley. Briary and raspberry flavors, along with structure, of cooler Dry Creek Valley balance perfectly to create an elegant and traditionally structured Zinfandel. Wine Enthusiast (WE): 93 "You could use this as a teaching tool for classic Sonoma County Zinfandel.
