Cellar/Tasting Notes
From Martinborough, one of the most Burgundian regions of New Zealand, this wine shows great balance of cherry-like Pinot with a smoky overlay of dry spice. Tamed, smooth tannins carry through the finish. Beautiful. Wine Spectator (WS): 94 "Exotic aromatics of mahogany and sandalwood follow through to supple red licorice, cranberry, cherry and raspberry flavors that are elegant, precise and balanced. Baking spice details of clove and nutmeg persist on the finish. Drink now through 2020." |
