Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (RP): 91-94 "Another sensational garage operation in St.-Emilion, proprietor Denis Barraud's Lynsolence has been performing at a high level of quality for a number of years. The 2006's dense purple color and sweet bouquet of scorched earth, camphor, beef blood, lead pencil shavings, blackberries, and cassis liqueur are both outstanding. The complex aromatics are followed by an impressively constituted, full-bodied, concentrated wine with ripe tannin and a long finish. It should be drinkable in 4-5 years, and age nicely for two decades or more." |
