Cellar/Tasting Notes
Jean de Coninck is from a long line
of winemakers of Libourne with a
history of winemaking that dates
back to 1739. In 1998, he acquired
the Château Clos de Salles in
Pomerol and, after renovations and
updating the winery equipment,
produced several wines, one of
which is this Merlot that offers both
elegance and intensity. Peter Morrell (PM): "It is one of
our favorite affordable Pomerols:
Rich, smooth and mouth filling with
the intriguing scent of plums and
dark cherries." |
