Tommaso Bussola began working at his uncle Giuseppe's estate in 1977 and in 1985 he took over his uncle's domaine. TB is a selection he makes in the vineyard and winery of his very best wines. The Amarone della Valpolicella TB is fantastically hedonistic, offering great velvety richness on the palate and exotic notes of black cherry, cocoa and ash.

"The 2007 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico TB is an immense and beautiful wine that delivers impressive depth and intensity. Amarone “TB” represents the best selection of fruit from the best vineyard sites. The blend (Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Dindarella and Croatina) sees 48 months in new oak. The intensity is stratospheric with bold tones of dried fruit, exotic spice, leather, tar, maple syrup and caramelized sugar. The mouthfeel is velvety and rich with loads of extra nutmeg and clove on the finish.. "

"Sweet smoke, black cherry, coffee liqueur and date notes lead the way in this beautifully balanced red, with juicy acidity and accents of ground anise, pekoe tea leaf and treacle echoing on the mineral-tinged finish."
