Cellar/Tasting Notes
Deep purple wine. The nose is rich and complex perfumed with red berry fruits that are peculiar to this grape variety. The palate is firm and full but balanced, and the finish is persistent and enticing.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (RP): 94 "Even more impressive, the 2009 Barbera d’Asti Superiore Nizza is flat-out sumptuous. All the best qualities of this great Barbera vintage come together in the glass. There is absolutely nothing missing. Vibrant veins of minerality support the succulent fruit through to the deeply expressive finish.
