MUSSO Wine producers is located in Barbaresco, a small village located in the heart of the Langhe area, a few kilometers from Alba. The enterprise was founded in the beginning of the 20th century by the great grandfather of the present director, oenologist Valter Musso.
The Barbera D'Alba is produced with grapes in the cru called "Rio Sordo. It has an intense brilliant red ruby color, with nice violet reflections and the flavor can be described as like taking a bite of cherry and a prune. In the mouth it is fresh and dry with a long, pleasant slightly bitter taste. It is a fabulous accompaniment to cold cuts, cheese, fast and informal dishes, and red meats.
