The 2007 Ginestra presents with a dark garnet color. The elegant and harmonious aromas co mingle beautifully with persistent notes of fruit, spices, and hints of balsamic and minerality.
The powerful aromas are well balanced by the opulent body structure and strong harmonious flavors. The finish is long and intense. It is suitable for long aging for a period of more than fifteen years.

"Good saturated deep red. The most pristine of these Barolos to this point, offering aromas of black cherry, blackberry, licorice, mocha and menthol. Sweet, ripe black cherry fruit is complicated but not overwhelmed by a hint of leather, with sound acidity giving clarity and energy to the wine's silky middle. Finishes sweet and broad, but with the vibrancy and medicinal reserve to support a leisurely evolution in bottle."

"Cherry is the main flavor in this firm red, joined by highlights of flowers and underbrush. This shows balance among its fruit, flesh and structure, with fine length on the finish"
James Suckling (JS): 94
"Focused and very pretty fruit on the nose, with blackberries and cherries. Full bodied, with a solid core of fruit and a silky texture. Classy...."
