Cellar/Tasting Notes
Canalicchio di Sopra Rosso di Montalcino is a fragrant, beautiful wine. It spent eight months in neutral oak casks, which has resulted in an intense, balanced red, very much a baby Brunello, and very much deserving of your finest pork and veal dishes. Or Tuesday night pasta tossed with a sauce made from Saturday night's pork or veal! Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (RP): N.A. "The 2010 Rosso di Montalcino bursts from the glass with juicy red berries, flowers and licorice. It shows lovely depth and roundness, not to mention an undeniably appealing personality. The clean, vibrant acidity adds considerable freshness. This is an utterly delicious Rosso." - Antonio Galloni |
