The Brunello Montalcino initially presents with a ruby red color which will deepen with age. The bouquet is quite intense and on the palate, the wine is dry and warm with a light tannic structure.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (RP): 90
"The 2007 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is an immediate, juicy wine with good depth and fine overall balance. Dark fruit, smoke, tobacco and herbs all add complexity on a finish supported by firm yet well-integrated tannins."
James Suckling (JS): 95
"A wonderful wine with vibrant fruit and acidity with hints of toasted oak, leather, chocolate and plum character. Full and silky with a pretty finish. Drink or hold."
