Cellar/Tasting Notes
This is loaded with dark fig, currant paste, Turkish coffee and bittersweet cocoa notes. The long, muscular finish shows a taut, chalky spine and admirable depth for the vintage. Impressive. Wine Spectator (WS): 93 Tightly wound, with a snappy edge to the pomegranate, red currant and red licorice flavors that have a taut chalky spine cutting through the middle. There's lots of briary, spice-filled grip on the finish. |
