Cellar/Tasting Notes
The colour shows brilliant, deep red hues. The nose is powerful and complex, expressing blackberries, smoke, spices, leather and black olives. On the palate, the wine is firm but silky, with a tightly-knit tannic structure that is the hallmark of wines that have a great future. Stephen Tanzer (ST): 90 "Full red. High-pitched, mineral-accented black raspberry and spice aromas are complicated by notes of dried violet and mocha. Very fresh and focused, offering zesty red and dark berry and cherry flavors and showing no rough edges. Offers excellent clarity and finishes with refreshing, stony cut and spicy persistence. I like this wine's precision and vivacity."
