Mas De Gourgonnier is a certified organic winery. The rose blend is made from a rose blend of mostly Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsault and Cabernet Sauvignon. Has surprisingly nutty aromas mixed with wonderful fruitiness and freshness which is due to high percentage of Mourvedre in the blend.
This storied domaine, run with passion and skill by Luc and Lucienne Cartier, has been farming and making wine organically for decades. Their gorgeous property in the beautiful countryside appellation of Les Baux de Provence yields powerful expressions of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, Carignan, and more…this darker-than-usual Rose has all the depth and rich flavors of a much more expensive wine. We have been selling it for years. |
