Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (RP): 92 "Red raspberry, fresh cherry, and smoked meat (approaching pork rinds) greet the nose, with notes of ceiling wax and rose hip emerging as the wine takes on air. On the palate, this displays the juicy fresh fruit elements and diversity of mineral suggestions one has come to expect from this estate; the tannins display more refinement than in the majority of 2005s; and the sheer length of flavors, albeit understated, is proof of another truly grand vin in a long-running series. This should be worth following for at least 6-8 years." |
