Cellar/Tasting Notes
Only 250 cases of this delicious 2009 red came into the U.S. and we bought a big chunk of it. All summer long you see happy people sitting outside in front of the Morrell Wine Bar drinking Bastide Blanche Rose – well, the red is just as wonderful. Wine Spectator (WS): 93 "This is full of succulent dark currant, dried cherry, stewed meat and violet flavors that take on plenty of mocha and bittersweet chocolate notes. The tannic finish is muscular, yet restrained, and features white pepper and cedar overtones. Drink now through 2020." |
