Cellar/Tasting Notes
Marsannay Rosé is a unique to Marsannay because it is the only village appellation in Burgundy that offers white, red and rosé wines. The rosé is part of the family history since the owner's grandfather, after returning from the war in 1919, had the idea to vinify the grapes of Pinot Noir into rosé wine for the first time. The success of this original wine was such that it became a specialty of the commune and acquired a certain amount of fame, which spread across France. The characteristics of this rosé are the fruit and the unique flavors of Pinot Noir. |
