The Blagny presents with a light yellow color. The pleasant, expressive and complex aromas open up with floral and slightly woody notes. The attack is bold and frank, but with opulence and balance on the palate. It has a certain vivaciousness, which gives it good length on the palate and very long-lasting aromas.

"offers up notes of white peach, spiced pear and acacia blossom?lilting mouth feel to the well-detailed, vibrant and attractively mineral driven flavors that possess fine complexity on the well-balanced and lingering finish. This is very pretty.

"Bright pale-medium yellow. Peach, apple, spices, hazelnut and white pepper on the nose, complemented by charry vanillin oak. Higher-pitched in the mouth than the vilage Meursault, showing less easy sweetness and firm mineral lift to the white peach and spicy oak flavors. Not a particularly fleshy wine, this will need at least a couple years in the cellar to put on weight and absorb its oaky edge."
