Domaine Christian Moreau Pere et Fils owns a total of 7.5 acres of this most famous of the Grand Crus of Chablis, more than any other producer in the region.
The family takes great pride in their vineyards in that their philosophy is that the winemaking techniques they use should strive to honor the high quality of their terroir, vines and grapes, bringing out the very best in every harvest.
The 2011 Les Clos is an excellent example of the end product of the family's philosophy, pride and dedication as the wine epitomizes elegance, refinement, boldness as well as a complexity- which is a sign of a fabulous Grand Cru.

"The wood treatment here is subtle to the point of being almost invisible, which permits the airy, cool and beautifully layered aromas of white fruit, floral, wet stone and sea shore nuances to really shine. The opulent and very rich medium weight plus flavors possess plenty of mouth coating extract that impart a seductive texture to the mineral-driven, complex and explosively long finish. This bone dry effort will require 6 to 8 years to arrive at its peak drinkability."
