The 2011 Morgeot Marquis de Laguiche presents with an admirable light golden color. Intense and elegant aromas are present including notes of hawthorn and apricot notes which evolve towards hints of blond tobacco. As the wine ages, there are nuances of dried fruit and rare spices. A silky texture and a subtle touch of tannin give a true personality to the wine. Remarkable aftertaste.

“The 2011 Laguiche bottling of Morgeot is absolutely beautiful this year, with great elegance and nascent complexity. This is simply a stunning wine, soaring from the glass in a blaze of apple, pear, orange zest, a touch of pastry cream, chalky minerality, apple blossoms, and a discreet base of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and very transparent, with a great core of fruit, racy acids, and outstanding length and grip on the beautifully balanced and almost silky finish.”
