Stephen Tanzer (ST): 90 "(I tasted a sample from the second batch of this wine, bottled in October): Pale, bright yellow. Musky white peach and pear aromas complicated by nuances of tangerine, menthol, stone and flowers. Juicy, pure and intense, showing lovely vibrancy and inner-mouth tension. This classic Chassagne finishes gripping and long, with flavors of white peach and white flowers. An excellent village wine, and much more bracing than a sample I tasted from barrel a year ago." |
