Burghound (BH): 94 "A very mild trace of reduction sits atop otherwise pure and attractive aromas of acacia blossom, stone and lightly spiced pear. The rich but well-detailed flavors possess almost painful intensity while terminating in an explosive and bone dry finish that exudes a sense of classiness. There is a touch of wood on the mouth coating finish but I suspect that it will not be long before it is successfully integrated." Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (RP): 94 "The 2010 Chevalier-Montrachet is rich, deep and powerful. Today the Chevalier is quite young and primary, with little in the way of aromatic and flavor development. Over time, though, sweet, honeyed notes begin to emerge as the wine gains volume and breadth in the glass. This is another striking wine from Michel Colin." |
