The 2010 Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru is magnificently concentrated with a very fine nose consisting of aromas of acacia, honeysuckle blossoms and nuts. This is a very pure yet powerful wine, with subtle hints of minerality.
This wine is ideal for drinking in a few years and can be kept for another 10 years.
Burghound (BH): 92-94
"Soft wood frames exuberantly fresh and expressive aromas of green fruit, green apple and pungent stone notes. There is outstanding volume and plenty of raw power to the tautly muscled large-scaled flavors that terminate in a focused, driving and wonderfully persistent finish. This is a big wine with plenty of dry extract yet absolutely no sense of undue weight."
