Situated with the same quality exposure as the Grands Crus, the Vaucoupin produces rich, ripe fruit blended with soft mineral and stone aromas. A classic Chablis Premier Cru style that produces consistent high quality wines from each vintage.
The color of the 2012 Vaucoupin is a golden yellow with clear green reflection. The nose is very expressive with fresh yellow fruits dominating. Exotic fruits are also present but are more discreet. One appreciates the generous mouth feel. Excellent attack in the mouth with an enjoyable acidulous feel. The finish is fruity with a nice round and long finish.

"The 2012 Chablis Vaucoupin is an addition to the Servin range. And what an addition it is. Smoke, graphite and all sorts of soil-inflected nuances blossom in the glass in this deeply expressive, resonant Chablis. A wonderfully layered and harmonious wine, the Vaucoupin is easily one of the highlights in this range. The deep, generous finish is particularly of note."
