This vineyard is known for its elegance and generous aromas. The Blanchots is easy to taste early with delicate floral aromas. A rare unoaked Chablis Grand Cru, the 100% tank vinification preserves its delicate fruit/floral flavors but takes nothing away from its long ageing qualities.
The robe is sparkling with a golden yellow reflections. The nose is powerful and elegant at the same time. One finds citrus, fresh yellow fruit notes blended with a hint of minerality. The palate is fresh and well balanced , with orange skin flavours. The mouth feel is full and round with a long fresh finish.

"As is almost always the case with a fine Blanchots there is a distinct floral component that is complemented by notes of citrus, wet stone and seaweed. There is a discreet minerality to the wonderfully refined middle weight flavors that possess fine mid-palate density as well as impeccable balance on the strikingly enduring finish. This is textbook Blanchots."
