Highly perfumed in youth, the La Truffiere has everything one would expect of a great white burgundy - richness, power, purity, length and, at the same time, the delicacy and elegance which characterise the wines of Puligny-Montrachet.

"Ripe apple and spicy oak on the nose; less pristine and high-pitched than the Vide Bourse. Round and lightly saline on the palate, with nicely concentrated peach and spice flavors. Less floral than the Vide Bourse and a tad dry on the end. This wine was in 50% new oak (two of four barrels) until the racking at the beginning of April."
