"Parcel #1: Cloudy appearance. Stone fruits, hazelnut, spices and lees on the nose. Glyceral and sweet but not yet complex, showing mouthcoating, almost Meursault-like stone fruit intensity and good length. Parcel #2, from smaller grapes more affected by millerandage: Explosive, very ripe aromas of apple, mango and red grapefruit; smells sweet! Then highly concentrated and tactile on the palate, with the sweetness of fruit leavened by strong acidity. Very aromatic. Boillot will assemble these two parcels for a single bottling."
