Les Charmes is considered the archetype of Meursault wines. It is a rich, round and powerful wine and though it can be drunk young, It will take five to seven years to develop all of its power and finesse.
Stephen Tanzer (ST): 89-91
"Bright yellow. Lime, buttery lees and a hint of green apple on the classic Charmes nose. Round on entry, showing green apple and spice flavors in the middle, then turning a bit more limey and aggressive on the tactile, firmly structured back end. Still finishing its malolactic fermentation."
