Gevrey-Chambertin is a village in the Cote de Nuits sub-region of Burgundy that is home to some of the world's most prestigious (and correspondingly expensive) red wines. This is a domaine of great reputation and this 2010 village wine is particularly beautiful and articulate, typical of this site and the year.

"This offers quite an interesting, and completely different, nose as it's quite floral with wild raspberry, currant and wet stone nuances combining with refined, detailed and very pinot flavors. There is an excellent depth, length and impeccable balance to the sappy and energetic finish. A really lovely villages."
