Cellar/Tasting Notes
Les Beaux Monts showcases the unusually high quality of the Premiers Crus of Vosne-Romanée, which are closer to the Grands Crus than to the village wines in quality. This wine has a satiny texture with full berry flavors, spicy notes and a delicate, persistent finish. It will develop in the bottle for 12 to 15 years. Serve with game, meat in sauce and strong cheeses. Stephen Tanzer (ST): 90-92 "Medium red. Very ripe aromas of redcurrant and chocolate truffle. Sweet, fat and lush in the mouth, but with its red berry flavors currently overshadowed by the wine's oak element. Best today on the rich, ripe back end, which features notes of cocoa powder and smoky minerality." |
