Cellar/Tasting Notes
One of the 24 Premier Cru vineyards of the commune of Chambolle-Musigny, Les Fuées has chalky soil over hard bedrock and an eastern exposure. This is a feminine wine, elegant and delicate with fine tannins and fruity, spicy aromas and flavors. Pairs perfectly with filet mignon, game and strong cheeses such as Reblochon. Burghound (BH): 90-92 "Moderate wood frames a very pretty nose of high-toned raspberry, cherry and subtle menthol nuances. There is plenty of the characteristic minerality to the refined and attractively vibrant medium weight flavors that possess a distinctly saline character on the clean and mildly austere finish. The tannins are firm but quite fine-grained and this should age well as the balance is impeccable." |
