Cellar/Tasting Notes
The 2011 Chapelle Chambertin is a rich and sumptuous wine with an extraordinary delicacy, elegance and finesse. The silken texture finishes in refined, complex notes of berries, earth and oak.
It will perfectly match with sophisticated dishes like meat en sauce', game and strong cheeses. Burghound (BH): 92-94 "This is also sufficiently reduced that it is hard to read the nose but it would appear that the underlying fruit is notably ripe. There is an elegant mouth feel to the mineral-driven and admirably pure medium-bodied flavors that possess outstanding depth and length and the very firmly structured finish. This is a beautiful effort but note that it would best be purchased only by the very patient." |
