Each bottle is aged a minimum of three years in new oak barrels, creating Patrón Tequila’s first extra Añejo. This extended aging period, in conjunction with the sole use of the Tahona wheel for processing, creates a unique flavor profile.
The aroma of the Piedra Extra Anejo exhibits a sweet and smooth array of fresh fruit, fresh mushroom, light citrus and toasted French oak. On the palate, the tequila is sweet, yet rich and complex combining an herbaceous agave flavor with light vanilla, and fresh mushroom. The finish is long lasting and remarkably smooth.
