Cellar/Tasting Notes
This rum exhibits a rich bronze hue, the color of rosewood, light- catching and intriguing. The opening aromas are rich - caramelized crème brulee, new glove leather and sandalwood from the sherry and port barrels used in the Solera. Also present are notes of vanilla, hints of peach, melon, orange zest and toasted wood. Age has intensified the aromas; clearly this is a robust yet sophisticated spirit with great promise. |
