Trotanoy, a sought after Pomerol wine, was purchased in 1953 by the Moueix family. With a style similar to the Petrus due to its diverse soil, the wine shows enormous complexity, power and depth.

"Dark red-ruby. Sexy, almost decadent aromas of plum, redcurrant, iron and smoked meat. Then juicy and bright in the mouth; began a bit lean and peppery but put on weight as it opened in the glass, without any loss of energy. Finishes with suave tannins, a note of cedary oak and lovely subtle length."
