Cellar/Tasting Notes For well over a decade, Morrell has been a fan of the Merlot based wine of Chateau Cadillac. From vines situated on a south facing slope of the Dordogne river in a district known as Fronsadais, the chateau produces a lovely cherried red, supple, fruit intensive and marvelously enjoyable when young.
Cellar/Tasting Notes Fairly deep garnet-red. Distinctive fruity, spicy and vegetal nose. Round, robust and savory palate revealing more of the nose aromatics. Structure and freshness on the finish. A good wine that will appeal to lovers of classic Medoc.
Cellar/Tasting Notes "A very tight and quite reticent nose displays reluctant notes of tidal pool, lemon rind and green fruit. The rich, full-bodied and intense flavors possess fine mid-palate density that coats the mouth on the overtly austere and robust finish that is linear, tangy, clean and dry. As is also usually..
Cellar/Tasting Notes Aromas of small red berries with some light cherry sapwood and a delicate nose of oak. This is dynamic and full of minerality due to the stony soil.
Cellar/Tasting Notes Indicative blend: Grenache, Carignan, Syrah and Cinsault. Situated just 15 km outside of Saint Tropez, Domaine Saint Marie harmonizes a pure relationship with nature and boasts an anthology of exceptionally old vineyards. Sourced from these older vines and produced in small quantities, Vie Vite..
Cellar/Tasting Notes “Another sleeper of the vintage, this blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc emerges from the limestone soils outside St.-Emilion. An inky/purple color is accompanied by stunningly flamboyant aromas of melted licorice, white chocolate, raspberries, and black currants. Full-bodied, layered,..
Cellar/Tasting Notes RP: "This terroir is superbly situated between Beausejour Duffau and Beau-Sejour-Becot, with Angelus within shouting distance. Bellevue has been managed by Stephane Derenoncourt and Nicolas Thienpont since 2000, and when St.-Emilion does its next new classification (in 2016), I would not be..
Cellar/Tasting Notes "This is a structured, fruity wine that has ripe strawberry and red plum flavors. Its tannins are condensed at the core, and the finish is marked by refreshing acidity. The vineyard is wholly owned by Faiveley."
Cellar/Tasting Notes "The 2010 Nuits St. Georges Clos de la Marechale Blanc shows off fabulous balance and cool, insistent minerality. It boasts tremendous energy in its chiseled notes of lemon, crushed rocks and white flowers. The aromas, flavors and minerality are pure Chardonnay but there is a breadth to the wine..
Cellar/Tasting Notes "Enticing aromas of toffee, cream, dried apricot and caramel, Full-bodied, very sweet and thick, with honey and caramel flavors. Long and rich, oozing with sweet ripe fruit, this s like liquid candy."
