Cellar/Tasting Notes
In 2011, the blend is 27% Sierra Mar, 25% Rosella’s, 18% Pisoni, 18% Soberanes and 12% Garys’. Adam Lee describes 2011 as the coldest vintage he has ever seen. Nevertheless, the 2011 Pinots are very pretty with dark red cherries, flowers and menthol wrap around the finish.

Cellar/Tasting Notes
The colour of the 2011 Clos du Roy is intense. The bouquet is open, reminiscentof wild blackberries,dried prunes and blackcurrent. As the wine matures, musky musky scents will be prominent on the nose. It is quite tannic but also supple.

The Marsannay Clos du Roy will match very well..

Aromas of small red berries with some light cherry sapwood and a delicate nose of oak. This is dynamic and full of minerality due to the stony soil.
