It is really hard to find good popular-priced Merlot (think back to the movie Sideways). This lovely Merlot fits the bill: Fresh black cherry with a hint of truffle, comes onto the palate with big shoulders yet very refined tannins, leaving a long, broad finish. We like it a lot.
